Whether you are a current student, a Voice College-qualified teacher looking for additional modules to bolt on to your existing qualification, or you are simply looking for a quick way to boost your knowledge under the guidance of one of our tutors, our Tutored Single Modules might be for you!
Any of the modules below can be taken for the purposes of continuing professional development, as an addition to your existing (completed) course, or just for fun! Please note, some of these modules require the purchase of an accompanying text (these are marked *) while others are based on papers and other in-house resources. If you would like to apply to take one of these modules as a stand-alone option, with full tutor support, please submit the application form on the left. There are no academic pre-requisites for studying stand-alone modules but please be aware that the module Understanding Vocal Registers is complex in nature and would not be suitable for beginners. Likewise, Better Belting, while suitable for both singers and teachers, is not suitable for beginner singers or novice teachers. Each module is designed to be completed within 4 - 5 weeks, with the exceptions of Understanding Vocal Registers, Better Belting and Working with Rock Singers which are double-length modules of 8 - 10 weeks. Better Belting is also available as a self-study course. Applications for all modules can be accepted from over-18s only.
All of our stand-alone tutored modules are delivered via our online campus, where you will be assigned to a private study room along with your personal tutor, for the duration of the module. On campus, you will be able to talk to other students as well as communicate directly with your tutor, and you will also have access to our online library. |
