CORE TEAM

#SING #TEACH #INSPIRE
Our regular team comprises a small but insanely dedicated group of tutors, coaches, performers, academics and consultants who all have in common a passion for voice geekery, singing and teaching!

All of our tutors have been through the Voice College experience themselves, so they know what it feels like to be a student at the college. We don't hire anyone who doesn't pass with flying colours, but there's more to being a Teamster than that! Each one is also very people-orientated, a great communicator, a great singer in their own right, academically gifted, has an A-1 track record as a vocal coach and is completely in tune with the college ethos: Above and Beyond.

Ria Keen

Principal and Senior Tutor, otherwise known as Doc, Chief or Yoda, depending on who you talk to...

Principal and Director of the college, Fellow of The Royal Society of Arts, senior tutor, ridiculously experienced vocal coach (37 years in 2021!), professional vocalist since 1859, arranger and vocal rehab specialist.

The heart and soul of The Voice College, its unrelenting driving force, and provider of cake when all else fails. In addition to her Voice College duties, which are extensive, she runs a huge adult contemporary choir, can often be found running workshops both in person and online, and loves nothing more than arranging vocals, creating new resources for the college and studying her favourite subject - vocal energetics.

Givvi has shared stage and studio with numerous musical talents throughout the country, and is often to be found in France where The Dowling Poole have their studio, as well as on stage providing stellar back up vocals for other artists. She's also a supreme voice geek and loves nothing more than getting to grips with the science behind how the voice works. She teaches online as well as in person so if you don't live close by - no problem!
