Finding Your Real Voice

Course Overview

A unique opportunity to gain Teacher Certification in Dena Murray's method. The course lasts for 8 weeks, during which time you will have 8 x 1-hour online sessions with Dena. In between lessons, you will be expected to practise, and to complete the course assignments.

Dena has certain requirements that must be met for the course, regarding specific equipment and reading materials, and they are as follows:

A laptop, desktop or tablet with Skype installed (download Skype FREE here)
A piano / keyboard or guitar and the ability to play basic scales & exercises
A means of recording yourself whilst working - this should include the ability to scroll back to a previous point in the lesson. Most students will have a recording device built into their PC, Mac, tablet or smartphone.
For singing songs you must have backing tracks to hand, and the ability to play them through something other than the machine on which you are conferencing with Dena.

Course costs: £455 when paid in full in advance.

About Dena

Dena is a legendary vocal coach from Hollywood, USA. Author of three best-selling books on vocal technique, she developed the vocal curriculum at The Musicians’ Institute in California, and runs a successful private practise, teaching largely via Skype.

Dena’s pedagogy comes from a scientific background (she has a BSc in Speech Communication), combined with her own unique and masterful insights and techniques, based on many years of teaching and performing experience.
